XD Alright, here’s a happier take on that scenario: as Silver offers comfort to Whisper, he suddenly remembers an alternate timeline where Sonic died (Sonic 2006). His spirit was still lingering in the mortal world, so they were able to revive him with the Chaos Emeralds. The heroes make it their mission to find the emeralds in the hopes they can pull off the same miracle. Lanolin joins on the mission, determined to make up for her mistake. But as it happens, Mimic and Clutch have the last emerald, leading to the epic showdown as Whisper’s eyes burn with both vengeance for her enemy and love for her friend.

They place the emeralds around Tangle as Whisper kneels beside her, relying on them to turn her thoughts into power. She expresses everything that Tangle had done for her, how she gave Whisper courage and happiness, and inspired her to keep living. She passionately begs Tangle to come back as she hugs and cries over the lemur. Then, the emeralds brim with light as Tangle returns. Lanolin and Jewel run to hug her as well, with Lanolin heavily apologizing for not believing them. Their friends throw a party, and the bond of the Diamond Cutters becomes stronger than ever.
