The art is SO GOOD. I’ve always been impressed by it, but it seriously just keeps improving & blowing me away!
& I’ll admit.. I didn’t super care for Surge & Kit, when they were first introduced & read through Imposter Syndrome. I thought their designs were a little lame, even. But they’ve grown on me so much. They’ve added a lot of balance, & even character to the whole group as a “whole”. Even their color schemes – they all contrast so well.. Like the scene that shows them all reacting to the quake of the explosion (aside from Kit 😉 )? The colors of each character bounces so well. We really needed a GREEN & TEAL character :D.
My point is, I know the IDW series has gotten a lot of bashing from “all their OC’s”. But I want to give them credit, that they know what they’re doing, & have given good thought to their characters. Tangle, Whisper & Mimic & Belle are great, too. I personally didn’t care for Jewel, but I’m sure someone did! >.>
The monkey that singlehandedly infected a Restoration hideout says he owes one. Shocker.
Love how even onetime cameos make reappearances. It makes the comic’s world feel genuinely alive in a fictional sense, and I am all for it.

I’m actually not too worried about something happening to Tangle or Silver next issue. Silver is obviously in the mainline games, and Tangle was mentioned in Sonic Frontiers.
Also, where’s Metal Sonic? Last time we saw him, he fell into the collapsing Eggperial City (Urban Warfare). No way Eggman would just leave him there, he’s basically his child.
Kit is trying to help surge by creating a problem so that surge can fix it but it’s not helping pleas kit stop😭
I did not expect Surge to stick with being a hero, but that is fine.
Good to see Kit still shaking things up!
Glass Hills looks absolutely insane! And Rainbow Ravine is so pretty! I’m in love with these locations

Alright, REALLY great chapter! We finally see what Glass Hill looks like (looks very unsafe to walk on) and I’m glad that monkey is doing okay! Rainbow Ravine and the turtle isle are really pretty settings! Also, that kid’s balloon had Next from Sonic X! An actual Sonic X cameo!! Loved Blaze having a “match” with Surge and teaming up with Kit! Also, just Kit’s little smirks. X3 AND A MARINE CAMEO!!
Okay… I really hope next chapter isn’t the final battle with Mimic. I just feel like there’s more potential and development we could have between him and Whisper. At least, that’s the standard I set in my Diamond Cutters fanfic, so I can’t expect much from the canon story. Well, we’ll just see what next chapter does.

Anyone else notice how similar Whisper and Shadow are? They both have major PTSD, both had their best friends brutally killed, and both are angry at the world and hardly have any friends. Only difference was how they responded. Whisper: in tears, then hiding from everyone. Shadow: tries to destroy the world in revenge.

Super into the idea of Surge and Blaze being rivals! Surge has the potential to create a lot of hazards and blaze is so good at being a hero, she’s never really met a problem she couldn’t immediately overpower! I see game potential!

OMG just the ending made this issue worth the wait! I just love Whisper and Tangle one of them are my favorite characters and if they are in a comic I’m already exited. Their friendship is the definition of opposites attract ♥
