okay now that I’ve actually read the scene that apparently makes people hate lanolin so much, I can critique them. She’s acting completely reasonable when she kicks Silver out of the Diamond Cutters. He just assaulted a (seemingly) innocent teammate with no proof behind his extreme accusations. While I agree she should have let Silver and Whisper explain more thoroughly, it was in everyone’s best interest that she proposed to boot Silver (as much as I love the guy). Besides, nobody’s perfect. Every character’s gonna make mistakes. If everyone was 100% perfect, nothing cool would happen and every character would be flat and boring! #stopthelanolinhate

i honestly get lanolins actions here. she just wanted to make sure everyone on the team was safe, and if silver was just throwing around a (in her eyes) innocent teammate without much proof of him being bad, I understand her wanting silver out of the group so nobody else would get hurt. it still doesn’t justify not hearing silver and whisper out about a suspicion of a group member. lanolin has known silver and whisper for much longer than duo and knows of whispers past so its kind of weird how she just didn’t listen to them at all. (sry for the paragraph its 4 am and I cant sleep)

Aww that was sweet between silver and blaze. I like how it wasn’t explicitly romantic and took the time to set them up as individuals and friends first, with room for romance if they choose to write that later on.
Also Blaze’s crush on sonic was referenced! Honestly thought that would’ve been left out in these comics so it’s neat to see it included. Doubt it will be expanded on much as I’m pretty sure sega doesn’t want ANYTHING romantic written for Sonic himself and IDW has been explicitly avoiding it in general
