I love how Amy isn’t just lovesick over Sonic in the IDW Comics she’s her own character and just doesn’t chase after Sonic like in older games, comics etc. Nice job IDW!!

Also, I love how they depict Sonic and Amy’s relationship here. NO, I don’t mean it like THAT. I mean, most comics depict them as Amy being a hopeless Sonic romantic and always chasing after him, with Sonic trying to ignore Amy or run away from her, or just leave her behind all the time. I hate Amy’s annoying and restless nature and habit to chase Sonic, and I don’t like how Sonic always excludes her from things and is rude to her—Both are acting terrible in this often-shown dynamic. But IDW Sonic and Amy have a healthy relationship, and while yes, Amy is STILL a hopeless romantic for Sonic, at least she isn’t annoying and doesn’t chase after him, but is like most people with crushes—Getting flustered over little things and just simping. Sonic is shown to still care for Amy and not leave her behind at all, but does get overwhelmed by her at times. IDW Sonic and Amy’s relationship should be depicted like this in other forms of Sonic media!!
