I am well aware of how long it takes to make a comic. The issue is they clearly didn’t take any of that time to make an actual narrative, it’s all them tossing every popular character from multiple continuities slapped together in a plot that’s all peril and no story. Anyone who knows these characters can tell you how shallow they’re being used here. Brutus has no business being their first proper fight, they made metal into shard after ONE issue with zero character development. And they effectively stole the fanservice-y version of receptionik from SOnic the Continuation for no other reason than having a sexy robot girl for more shallow attention-grabbing panels.
They aren’t taking time to make this comic they’re just throwing whatever characters they can onto the page in hopes that enough people will toss money at their patreon that they never have to actually try writing.
every page of this causes me massive pain to read. it’s all so… shallow. Every character is treated like they have history and weight that they haven’t earned. Plus calling this the “prime” dimension like it’s got any right to that title is so far beyond arrogant.
And Making metal into shard after only a day as metal sonic kinda encapsulates how hard this story is trying to speed run to big finales instead of actually slowing down and letting us get to know a single consistent thing about this universe.
Agreed, it’s disorienting. Mashing together all these versions and continuity’s is a detriment to this comic, some things only work in their respective universe. Because at least then there is prior setup and reasoning behind it. If I see, for example STC Sonic, I expect him to act like STC Sonic not some weird mashup that makes him so far removed that it might as well be an entirely different Sonic all together. Everything feels so rushed like ADHD. Not to mention with all these characters, there’s no way they will get an equal or even a decent amount of character development. There’s too much going on in a short amount of time and I don’t think I’ll bother continue reading it for much longer.
And if you’re unfortunate to not know one of the continuity’s in this comic you get nothing, I guarantee the majority of the people who read this comic do not know anything about STC outside what they see on social media.

Sorry Chaos, but there’s only one God. And it’s not the stupid furball from Murder of Me

It is not a bad comic you just don’t know how long it takes to make a comic you should try it yourself if your complaining.
