What a fun special issue! Its a little thing, but it makes me so happy that they chose to keep the fact that sonic plays guitar, specifically acoustic. It was something in the archie comics he would play idly like in this issue, but also as a way to vent out anger and sadness like when he lost Sally to roboticization.
It was never in the games, but i think it fits his character to have a casual hobby like that

Sonic honestly could’ve told Shadow what was going on and given him the Topaz. After all, Shadow can teleport normally, and has experience handling stuff like overloading Chaos Energy, so the Warp Topaz literally wouldn’t even bother him.

Nice issue! Poor Knuckles; stopped his duty of defending the Master Emerald and went all the way out there to help Sonic, only for Sonic to turn him down and have Knuckles waste his time lol. Also, love the face Rouge was making in the two panels where Shadow was about to punch the Babylon Rogues into the sky and have a “Team Rocket blasting off again!” montage. Rouge was just smiling at them like she knew what was about to happen.
When sonic was escaping after putting the warp topaz back his SPO( super peel out) was blue, it’s not important just strange.

Both are not trash they are both good like idw has some great ones like meatal vires also archie is good too they both have great story lines. Also Lanolin is not that bad hear me out she has a lot of great things about her but she controls people a lot and that may be a problem because it can really annoy people and make people hate her for that so yeah she is not that bad. Also I hope they bring Sally back just like Honey The Cat.
