I can’t forgive Sega for most of their continuity mandates (the shadow ones especially hurt my soul), but choosing to keep classic characters out of modern canon hurts worse after these mini arcs. I would love to see modern takes on the hooligans, mighty and ray, or even some of the better archie ones! (I’ll never forget you Shard…)
People don’t appreciate Ian Flynn and Evan Stanley enough for being able to create such compelling stories under such strict guidelines and meddling. Sure complete creative freedom can give us Ken Penders level disasters, but I still hope one day Sega will loosen up a bit for the sack of our writers
im noticing that this technicly is a fang 30th aniversary comic, so fang gets more than the others by a lot, IDW must really like my boi fang!

i actully bought a physical copy of this whole series a little while back. i found them at my local comic book store and the owner (who is super cool by the way) recomeded them. i read though the whole series and its honestly not that bad! i personally live the art in these “clasic era” idw has been coming out with recently. the story is well paced. i think the ending was a tad weak however i still recomend reading them to any clasic era fans, even just for the art cuz its rlly clean 😀
