I’m not going to lie, Whisper’s look there, you can tell how much pain she’s in just thinking about Tangle getting hurt. I’ll say one thing for this team, they sure know how to make characters that hit you like a punch in the gut. Whisper, Surge and Kit… All have backstories that are a major kick in the feels.
Man. This issue is basically the first time Whisper opens her eyes or even talks without whispering! Her personality is getting better and better each cameo!

Awwwweee, Whisper cares about Tangle! And Tangle’s claustrophobic! Or at least scared of suffocating to death. I feel that.
Nope. She’s claustrophobic. (Did I spell that right?). It’s confirmed on the SWZ (Sonic Wiki Zone).
In the last few panels, that’s the first time Whisper talks in a normal voice. Wish I had a friend like Tangle, man 😭
Also, Mimic’s true form looks cool, tbh.

howdy, I feel like this subseries is kinda underrated and everyone forgets to read them, even though they help so much to getting to know Mimic and Whisper
(i skipped this miniseries because i thought it wasnt any important until they showed a part of it in issue 57’s “story so far” thingy-)
