Tails is an important member of team sonic, but when it comes to sonic, knuckles and shadow, tails is trash, sonic was only getting his butt kicked cause he didnt want to hurt his best friend, If i were sonic, I’d probaly do the same. P.S. just at 26 mph sonic’s spindash can smash a refrigerator in half! AND SONICS FULL SPEED IS MACH 15! (15 times faster than the speed of sound.) SONIC COULD HAVE KILLED TAILS!
Hah. I disliked last issue, but this one makes up for it by resolving the conflict & then also rectifying the oddity of fighting so hard against fascism only to reinstate a monarchy. Sure, maybe it’s not a dictatorship, but still a bit backwards. Love the callback to the Knothole Council, Ian continuing to make Sally cool again, & generally just handling these characters so much better even in an arc where Sonic (arguably) acts a bit out of character. Anyone else & this would have been melodrama dragged out for EVER in the dumbest ways.
That being said, but this & the last couple instances of people suggesting tension between Sonic & Tails feels mostly out of place. Besides the initial hurt at learning about Sonic/Fiona, there was very little to suggest that. They teamed up numerous times & I never got the sense of there being any tension: they even teamed up to enter the Special Zone & seemed fine there.
Nice. Nice this is what I needed to see….not necessarily sonic getting beat up but tails in combat and not on the sidelines…those tails swipes were peak 👌
Ok, from last issue with (former) king acorn and his ignorance, and this issue, i think former king acorn either is a robot, or had memory loss from the egg grapes.

I think Sonic could’ve totally beaten Tails. Sure the kid totally had him on the ropes, but really Sonic wasn’t even trying to fight Tails.
