okay so if you want to understand this comic, you gotta read the sections from the bottom up; still read the individual sections normally. It makes a lot more sense that way 🙂
Coming from someone who only knows the the storyline from the Adventure games, all of this was really eye opening. I loved how in detail everything got and even though it had its inconsistencies I cant say it was unbearable or unreadable. I love the classic era and I say it’s a great foundation for what’s to come next.
71 issues, MULTIPLE, spinoff comics and specials, and I am finally done with the Classic/Dark era of Archie Sonic. Hopefully it gets better from here
the classic ones were good at first because it was only trying to be silly with itself, but by time they wanted to make it too serious to the point where the wirtting was awful. hopefully the modern era is better

Most of what happened after issue 50 wasn’t all that interesting to me. I know there’s interesting stuff later on, so I hope that’s soon
I read the comic backwards. Plot still makes no sense but thank God I’m done reading the Classic Era!
to be honest, i dont like it. I didnt see Scratch, nor Grounder or Coconuts, and they could’ve brought the books up by a lot.
That’s it for the classic era then.
All in all, I didn’t really like it. This may be crazy to say, but I think the earliest parts are the most consistent of the lot: it’s a silly, childish romp and it’s not ashamed of it. It’s when the writers tried to make it more mature that shit goes off the rails, which is not helped by the very inconsistent (and often very awful) art.
Mecha Madness is the very peak of the run, but unfortunately it’s a tiny island of awesomeness surrounded by a sea of dullness. Here’s hoping that things improve going forward.
Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Everyone rants and raves about Archie Sonic, but this was a slog to get through.

uuuggghhh. finally! it was so painful to bleed through all those pages and weird art styles!
Could they have not made this issue non backwards, they could’ve changed it so it was in order, and not like the original.
FINALLY!!!! Time to move to the Adventure Era!
