Y’know despite how serious Sonic’s supposed death is in this issue, the whole cover story blew by me pretty fast with no feelings. Compared to Julayla’s death which was more emotionally driven but had less pages, Sonic’s is obviously going to be a fake out and this story is rather comedic still, if not outright bland.
