this mini series is PEAK!! i never thought I’d say this exact sentence, but i love Sigma. he’s so kind and reasonable, and i have a soft spot for character who speak w long words.
and Mecha Sonic is … God, i’m in love with their character. i went from being scared of them to caring for them, and they didn’t SAY a word. the PTSD/flashback scene was CINEMA . i hope everything ends well to them.
also, i liked Mecha Knuckles. he looks silly, and his design is amazing.
overall, i really love everything about it. the atmosphere, the story, the art, the “new” characters, Sonic and Tails… i hope the next two issues give it a proper ending!

i actually have a theory, so lots of the og sonic fans remember E-102 Gamma, right? in SA1, gamma was a sentient robot who disobeys Eggman, my theory is that- since the EGG CARRIER is there, probably the original one, gamma would be there, too, so my theory is that Sigma might find Gamma and Beta’s body in the future books, and they will be scrapniks as well,

Didn’t expect mecha sonic lore/angst, how fun! Also seeing mecha knuckles in general is crazy, I’m pretty sure he’s never appeared in a mainline game, just advance. Some may call in fanservicey but I always enjoy when IDW pulls old/obscure game stuff for their plots
Poor Mecha Sonic, just wanted to leave all of his Eggman past behind.

“Gears and starters!” HAH, that’s what Belle says! It’s really missed potential that they didn’t bring her on this trip. Also, what if Clutch and Clean Sweep found out about this island? That’s a lot of scrap to “recycle.” This also reminds me of WALL-E, what with him taking care of the lone plant.
