I wish I had an older brother like Sonic 😭 he’s so cool and friendly. Also, I loved the visuals in this comic—They were gorgeous! The bioluminescent glow was pretty, and so was the Salamander. I hope nobody stumbles upon the Salamander’s home; He’s just trying to protect it.

Something that confuses me is that there is a normal salamander but are there any antro ones like there are flickys ( normal birds ) and jet the hawk ( antro bird )

Its comics like these that make me enjoy the fact that in IDW Tails is part of a duo and not a abused fanboy like in oter medeia. lookin at you arcie and fleetway

Fleetway tails is a hero all on his own, he’s barely even with sonic after the first 20 issues and when he is he usually saves sonic, not the other way around.
Similarly Tails saved the multiverse in archie and when sonic was getting too big for his britches Tails socked him in the jaw for it. I wouldn’t describe any tails as “abused fanboy” unless I was feeling especially bitter about movie tails.

Because it doesn’t add anything of real value nor does it introduce anything of significant value. Sonic winning over a quadruped briefcase with the power of speech isn’t in his character,and it certainly doesn’t make sense how or why this creature can understand what he’s saying. You don’t watch an episode of Naruto,then magically say: “Oh yeah,this’ll work here,” because it doesn’t. It’s a wild animal,not a grief-stricken antagonist with a morality complex.

what a fun and adorable issue! love seeing sonic and tails refer to each other as brothers. the artwork was stunning as usual. glad they went on hiatus after this one instead of the previous or else i would’ve gone crazy with anticipation.
now to look forward to the fang series!

I agree that this doesn’t really tie into anything major so it’s kind of out of place in the mainline comic, but I don’t really mind it. I love seeing these two interact and have fun. This is just a cute, fluffy issue for these two brothers, and I’m all for it!

Aw cmon dont say stuff like that. As someone who is learning how to draw Its gonna take time. If wanna get better look up video tutorials on how to draw these characters. You can use reference photos of the characters to get the right proportions to draw them on model. But Ultimately you need to have willingness to improve because slowly but surely you can become a great artist just like the guys who work on these comics. Believe in yourself! 🙂
