Tangle wanted to call them the diamond cutters, KNOWING whisper’s whole previous diamond cutter team was canonically killed is brutal. I know they were going for a “haha you can’t read a room, tangle” type of joke but it kinda comes off as unintentionally cruel of her. Not a lot of confirmed canon deaths but I was pretty sure whisper’s team was one of them

We’re finally properly involving Lanolin in the party! Lol this author just loves likeable female characters! I really like her bell weapon, too! Noooo, Whisper’s mad at Tangle! For taking her old team’s name! D,X Looks like the Diamond Cutters are about to go through some forced team bonding.
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE AND LOVE Adam’s and Nathalie’s art! It’s amazing! How did Sonic manage to drop ALL of the Diamond Cutters into the VR thingy portal?! I know some Hummingbird robot came and did that, but still…Now Whisper, Tangle, and Lanolin are in the same huge mess that Sonic, Amy, and Tails were in issues ago!! (And Tangle, since she DID come to help).

Lanolin is just such a cool character in general
Also Gunnar it might have to do with some wacky Mimic shenanigans (Read Tangle and Whisper and Bad Guys for more info on the guy)
This issue was good, but for me Lanolin was just along for the ride and didn’t really add much. But we do get to see Silver and Blaze next month so who cares.
