I honestly love characters that are violent and crazy because of a sad backstory
I liked Eggman helping Sonic out of the water. It shows Eggman is willing to help physically move him without using his technology or allies, willing or not, it’s like a little bit of Mr Tinker is still in there.

I feel like Shadow and Surge would be good friends, but not as a ship, just friends. They’d probably go to rock concerts together.

I hope Surge and Kit come back soon! I’m loving their drama. I wonder if they’ll acquire a third some day, the sonic franchise does love its trios

the art by nathalie illustrates what i love about both surge and metal so much, seeing themselves as another side of the same coin compared to sonic, surge believing she’s born to live in his shadow until he is gone, and metal believing he is truly sonic and that what he is doing is the best thing. very compelling characters.

I love the power and design of Kit and Surge.
kit has these points when his eyes turn red I don’t know why but I think it changes his state of mind to hostility his emotions are always changing
and surge was built to be weaker than sonic

when did starline learn to build with DNA none of this has ever been seen before in the sonic universe

Man, Sonic almost died the same way Mako killed that waterbender in Legend of Korra! Sonic, break Eggman’s legs or something. -_- At least Whisper might be happy now.
The first art, the one with Tangle and Whisper, looks gorgeous. Also, Sonic looked so pissed at the last panel. Can’t blame him though. Poor Kit and Surge…They have so much trauma that they have trouble trusting people. I can relate to them on the trusting part—I find it difficult to trust others too.

I’m sorry, but I want to ask. I’m notably worried about Surge the tenrec, is she dead, or are they just unconscious??
Personally I think this is pretty clearly setting up for Shadow and Surge to get an arc together, once Sega lets up and allows Shadow to be a fully three-dimensional character again. Surge is a living experiment raised to be a weapon and forced into a villainous role, and Shadow could easily see a lot of himself in her – meanwhile Surge clearly needs *somebody* and it’s been made abundantly clear Sonic can’t be it. Combine that with all the allusions to Shadow 05 all over Surge’s stories and I think it’s pretty clear where things are going
surge and kit are cool
Feels like a wasted potential so far but I still really like Surge and Kit
I know some people don’t like surge and kit but I’m actually gonna be pissed if this arc just ends here cause you can’t just make a whole 4 part mini series before issue #50 introducing and hyping up these two and just have them ditch after like 7 issues into the actual arc. I hope the writers are thinking of something big cause I don’t want the arc to just end here.
