The background/unimportant character designs are so good. Each one feels like they a living, breathing part of this world. Unappreciated aspect for sure but I think it really improves the world-building of IDW sonic a lot

No zavok at the jonathan gray art in the end feels unfortunate but the special stages are cool
That Jonathan gray art at the end is insane. So many details
Even Lanolin seems judgemental of Belle, but at least Tangle’s making friends! And they’re going on that mission, LIKE IT OR NOT! Great, not weather warfare.
