Another thing, the Metal Virus would’ve been a good time to have a boomerang or a yo-yo. Either makes a lethal weapon. Also, what about shields and suits, why can’t we use those like Espio did in the annual?

I don’t usually sob or cry while reading or watching any form of media, but the art of Whisper screaming and the art of Tangle succumbing to the Metal Virus made me sob so hard. Both of them are one of my favorite characters from the IDW comics.

The way the artist illustrates emotions is so peak. Take espio for example, when he’s getting mad at sonic for not letting him kill of Mr. Tinker, his eyes look shaky, shadows are cast upon him, a lot of his face isn’t shown, and the background is dark.

Ugh… Cream’s spirit is broken… and so are Tangle and Whisper. I hope Black Doom has a boiling cauldron with your name on it, Eggman.
This arc just got more depressing. Now we hear that JEWEL’S already infected, and TANGLE got the Virus from Jewel. Plus we see Tangle go 100% Metal and get completely infected. And dang, Whisper actually yelling for the first time ever….Shows you how much she started to care for Tangle ever since the 4-issue miniseries of them (which is amazing, btw you should read it). And dang, Cream going from a happy, gentle, cheerful little girl to a serious, monotonous, and apathetic girl is sad, since she LITERALLY WITNESSED HER MOM GET INFECTED. At the age of 6 years old. This arc is downright depressing.
The cover art goes SO hard.
Oh and Tangle’s infection is pretty sad too, I guess.

Fr. Tangle is one of my faves. Since Whisper only viewed Tangle as a friend, her infection especially hit hard for her.

This was the saddest issue in my opion because everyone was sad even cream tails and sonic everyone was sad except Tangle she was are last hope and she turned into a zombot and now Whisper is crying and that hits me so hard and it hurts because I know what it feels like it is like a stab in the back like you loss someone so improtant to you so yeah it hurts a lot.
