I guess this explains why Silver was even part of the resistance lol. Though at this point they don’t have to explain it if the reason is always “this world-ending event destroys my future too so I’m here to help! 😀 “

I think the interaction between Knuckles and Silver was a failed attempt at making Sonic Forces seem more logical. It all feels too forced (pun intended)
