I always love Omega, but in this comic I love him more. At the end, when Cubot reveals the “Big bad Badnik” was just the robot Froggy Big thought was his Froggy made Omega so angry that he just lit the place up lol. Omega wanted to decimate a powerful Eggman robot, and he didn’t get that lol. Also, Sonic having an existential midlife crisis when his sculpture got destroyed is just-😭 Badnik Froggy really did sculpt a beautiful ice sculptor of Eggman though.

the story with froggy was… confusing, to say the least. i know the person that wrote the story, and they make really great art! this issue may not have been the best but i think it’s kind of cute

yeah but if Fleetway goes into Sonic because Sonic lost his sanity and Fleetway is the embodiment of insanity or going insane does that mean Fleetway will come back in the IDW series

I mean, no. That was played off as a joke, Sonic wasn’t actually losing his sanity, and this is meant to be a pretty lighthearted issue. If they were to do something like that, it would be in the main comic. It’d be a bit silly if Sonic actually LOST it because he… lost at a winter gameshow.
And Fleetway Super Sonic isn’t Sonic losing his sanity, it’s just how Super Sonic worked in Fleetway’s Sonic the Comic. He turned into a different person when going super, to the point they were separated into different entities at a point.
I get wanting something you like from an old comic to come back, but its better to appreciate these stories for what they are and not what they aren’t, this is a new comic with chances for writers to tell new stories, not recycle old ones. Those stories with Fleetway Super Sonic aren’t going anywhere.
