Lots of sonic adventure 1 and 2 refs in this one. Mecha Sonic mk 3 got a cameo, I always did like his design. Also, when omega used his multi hit lock in it was the same font and style as when eggman/tails use it in sonic adventure 2!

I always love Omega, but in this comic I love him more. At the end, when Cubot reveals the “Big bad Badnik” was just the robot Froggy Big thought was his Froggy made Omega so angry that he just lit the place up lol. Omega wanted to decimate a powerful Eggman robot, and he didn’t get that lol. Also, Sonic having an existential midlife crisis when his sculpture got destroyed is just-😭 Badnik Froggy really did sculpt a beautiful ice sculptor of Eggman though.
