Summary

YESSSS SILVER AND SHADOW LOVE!!! most of the time I don’t like how shadow is written in idw but this crossover was very nice and shows shadows personality a little bit better also amy and silver are my fav characters so it was nice seeing them get more screen time (mostly silver) I’m very excited to see what happens next :3

Something was said earlier about Flash and Sonic not being able to escape the Omega Beams showed their speed was downplayed. That’s not necessarily true logically. in fact, it shows they were moving at INSANELY high speeds.
Flash (Barry Allen) and Superman fought Darkseid once, he fired his Omega beams and Flash and Superman ended up running laps all through a city trying to escape them, when Flash finally phased through one of Darksied’s minions to get it to hit him instead, Flash was exhausted and had to catch his breath before running again.
That being said, the Omega beams could’ve been going anywhere between faster than sound to light speed, probably far faster than sound seeing that they exhausted Flash.
That being said, Omega beams also have extreme maneuverability, they don’t slow down or change speed while turning, and they move to the precise target with high efficiency.
Seeing Sonic and Flash were running around in a very small area, 20 yards at most, Omega Beams would get wherever they run in an instant with how fast they are. Which means Sonic and Flash would HAVE to keep moving to avoid them.
That actually proves in order to run ahead of the Omega Beams in such a short distance they were going many, many times faster than Barry was.
Especially that one panel where we see Sonic moving only a few feet at a time, even in the air, and still avoiding the Omega Beam shows he was moving possibly even lightspeed since he was staying about a foot away from the beam, and it shows he has unreal control of his speed to be able to maneuver like that being able to decelerate that quickly and make turns that precisely.
TLDR: If you play a game of tag in a 10 foot range against someone who’s decently fast, can keep eyes on you and is very agile, it doesnt matter how much faster you are, you’re going to have to keep moving in order to avoid them.
I believe I know how a Sonic character could approach Wally’s speeds. Approach, mind you, Wally will still be way faster (don’t diss me Kenyaa, I’m not a glazer).
Sonic, according to Omega, can exceed the speed of light. Metal Sonic is faster than Sonic. Metal also has a technique called the V. Maximum Overdrive, which allows him to quadruple his speed while he’s using it. That, overall, is, like, quintuple times the speed of light. Bear in mind that the greatest effect this would have if Wally and Metal were racing is that if Wally looked back with binoculars he would see Metal getting somewhat closer to him than Sonic.
However, Metal’s body cannot handle the raw speeds he pushes himself to reach, so performing such a feat would cause Metal to break down and fall apart when he was done.

I think the first 2 volumes of DC X Sonic the Hedgehog comics were good but this is becoming a farce. Putting DC characters in Sonic characters’ costumes is a really stupid idea. I prefer DC vs Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sonic In CD did not time travel with his Speed alone. He needed the time travel Signposts to do so. In Generations Sonic did not restore Time and Space. He only restored Space. Also why did you mention so many Light Speed feats? we get it bro. Sonic is FTL. Just one would suffice. The feats I didn’t debunk are valid.
