I strongly believe that this is how Ian Flynn would write shadow in IDW if he was allowed the freedom to by Sega. I know sega wants him more as a plain arrogant asshole rival type but he’s got a heart too! I like to think he compares himself to his blue counterpart a lot as well, both for better or for worse
That mighty and ray poster felt like a bit of a jab at sega mandates as well. For those who might not know, sega decided that those characters as well as the hooligans are now only allowed to appear in “classic” extra issues, never in modern canon

and a shadow chao by making it a speed type dark.

Amazing! Finished the Sonic X Shadow Generations game on Saturday, but my copy arrived on Friday and I played the first half on Friday. It was amazing! Love this little Chao manga, the artstyle is cute and I love the Shadow Chao’s design!!
