They probably should have left Dulcy’s design alone for people that grew up on Sonic SatAM. While I prefer her personality as a warrior (timid dragon is just silly, especially when we already had skittish Antoine), her look is just way too jarring.
I’m sorry to all those that have seen my excessive comments about growing up on SatAM… I literally can’t help it and I realize it’s probably getting old (like me… HA!).
I never thought I’d say this, but I like the old canon better, in this storyline at least. It actually seemed a pity they had to reboot when they did.
I just realized that on the scroll where Dulcy’s talking about the Phoenix spirit, there’s a scroll that has a tiger, a bird, a tortise, and a dragon drawing around the Phoenix. Dulcy’s a dragon, Cinder’s a bird, Bunker’s a tortoise, and Jian’s a tiger.

I think its funny Archie went through the trouble of anthropomorphizing Muttski post SGW only to literally never use the character. Throwing him into that Tails flashback felt like them remembering he exists for the first time

It’s Dulcy! I LOOOOVE her team! So cute! Also, aren’t they the four special Zodiacs? Lol young Tails didn’t know what wings were! Oh, Conquering Storm is still around! IT’S THE DARK GAIA PHOENIX! Adabat is my favorite locations, I’d love to live by the sea like that. Awe, Tails is such a good little brother! YEAH, Knux and Mighty are gonna give that Egg Base a heck of a time!
