The art is really good!
THAT WAS SO COOL! I wish sonic unleashed as a game had a fraction of the energy and storytelling the werehog plot here had. It always made me so frustrated that sonic as the werehog in that game was just normal behavior sonic.
If the devs wanted him to still act like he usually does that would be fine if everyone else thought he wasn’t himself and were scared of him, but instead everyone is just mildly surprised at best and treats werehog sonic normally.

HAH, the warlord’s so tiny! Lol Sonic’s giving in to the darkness in his heart this time. He doesn’t have as strong control. Wow, Sky Patrol’s ship is actually pretty cool! Oh, no… “The sunshine… I can feel it again…”

It is hilarious to me that, from one panel to the next, we go from Sonic saying he absolutely isn’t going on the sky patrol, to Sonic being on a tour of the sky patrol.
Comedic genius.
That side-story wasn’t that very serious or anything, but it was very funny. Reminds me of the early days of Archie.
