Ian Flynn once again taking silly characters, lore, etc. & making a decent to pretty good story out of it. I just read that issue/arc where Geoffrey ‘mentored’ Elias & it just seemed so obnoxiously dumb… Flynn recontextualizing that as intentional sabotage is neat.
I don’t love that Hershey was fridged but considering the impending Penders Purge, it’s a solid explanation for her lack of appearance lately & going forward, especially for me since I’m headcanoning a bunch of different continuities to be one singular continuity. At least she got to remain pure, dying before she learned her husband was a liar from the start (assuming it isn’t revealed that Hershey knew his true allegiance)

I think this is the first time Evan Stanley draws in the comic! And Max’s wife (forgot her name) is submissive and useless, what a nothing character.
