I really like how thrown off Sonic is by Robotnik breaking. The finality of him snapping seemed to really spook him. I wonder if he felt bad for the guy or was just forlorn because it felt like an end to a 15 year era.
Also interesting that even though both Tails and Amy ask Sonic if hes okay its only Sally who he opens up to. It really makes it feel like shes meant to be the one true love interest, despite Amy fulfilling that role in more modern takes.
