i NEED to talk about sally’s maid’s outfits. what is that? what are they wearing? what is the cultural background for a very european-inspired kingdom to dress the princess’s maids in slinky silk two pieces and veils? is this ever explained anywhere? those outfits are NOT suitable for servants of ANY class, even a role as we can assume is as prestigious as a royal retainer! assuming they actually do anything, they’ll still have to lift heavy objects, handle liquids of various temperatures, and be able to move quickly. their outfits ARE NOT FUNCTIONAL at ALL. not to mention theyd be cold in a big stone castle in the winter! do they have the same uniform all year round? theyd be constantly shivering and getting sick! why the veils???
