I did genuinely try to let these stories sit for a while but all three of them are SO bad. Sonic finally going to the Nameless Zone is stretched out and still fails to properly follow up on the lackluster ending of the goblin arc (are they just… not going to do anything about the people who literally eat foxes running the government?) and Bringing back kintobor, merging him with the kintobor computer then turning him BACK into robotnik means we now lost TWO AI characters the comic JUST went out of its way to endear us to. I have so much love for what this continuation did for tails and sonic, but it seems alergic to its own best plotlines, as well as giving any of the StC exclusive cast actual time to shine, Ebonys written out, Tekno and Shorty are stuck repeating the same 2 bad plotpoints and 1 good one, Amy’s set up into a motherly role but any time shes given an action story its against really boring villains, they’ve done NOTHING with Metamorphia as a hero or villain, only use earth for the nonserious holiday stories, their best original characters seem to just exist to fill holes in the freedom fighters and nothing else, Shadow 2.0 was WASTED as a concept and they seem to only care about Super Sonic in the way someone who never read StC would care about super sonic, trying to gaslight us into forgetting his entire stint as a good guy with ebony.

I’m glad we have exit sonic, because that at least means if this comic gets worse I can pretend it ended on a high note years ago.
