Frankly, I wish the people reading these stories actually left more interesting conversation pieces versus ‘very good’.
I get we are all different people with subjective taste, but why do people enjoy this comic?
It has impressive art, easily 8/10 stuff.
But the story is just a self admitted retelling of a story that already exists.
I dislike Sonic Legacy, by Sonic Paradox, a good amount; but even that comic—
understood that it had to change things to keep a fresh story.
Just going off this issue alone, I don’t think I’d bother reading the story anymore after this point. If I wanted Sonic 1’s story, I’d play Sonic 1. If I wanted to read a comic about Sonic 1, there are a good amount of ‘official’ retellings already.
I wish the creator luck, and I hope they’ll be able to convince me otherwise someday, until then, this comic is a 3/10; the art is the only savior for it.
