if you read the last few issues, then you would know that surge actually exposed sonic to be the phantom rider, so with his identity already out there, there isn’t a point to hide anymore.

they made it seems like surge and kit had this great plan to become heroes but it ended up being…beat up clutch?
i was expecting some sort of play with the cams to make it look like they where the main heroes, or saving the ship, but i guess everyone di their part and thats it for this arc

I feel like to many different things happened, and it caused some plot points to not get alot of pages and explanation they should have gotten. Comparing it to like issue 50, there was alot of things happening and there was alot of build up, but they all connected to two things, that got alot of focus and it ended up paying off. It was still good, it just didn’t live up to expectations. Hopefully the next few issues will satisfy whatever I feel was missing.

It’s here!! Coincidentally 2 days before Sonic 3 comes out, and the day before the Fan Event—Amazing Phantom Rider Arc conclusion! Also-NOOOO MIMIC GOT AWAY!! Sonic and Jet are W for saving all those people and making it a race.

Honestly… Silver has, over time, become one of my favorite characters alongside Surge and Kit, so seeing that he will be in the next couple of issues makes me SOOO happy and hyped. I am very sad that his garden that he has worked so hard on and made so many memories in is completely gone 😭 That is where some of his best character growth has occurred. But overall, I really enjoyed this issue and now need to know what happens in the next stream of events 🤍

Oh wow, that was pretty good. Though it is most definitely just me, I wish there were more stakes and sacrifices, you know the hero is going to save the day, but I guess this is also a kids book.
I also see Evan Stanley snuck Vennie (sorry its probably spelled incorrectly, I haven’t read her comic in a while lol), and then in an alternate cover you can see Ian Jr. You can also see Big the Cat in the city. I look too hard at panels XD
