Not gonna lie, when I saw the garden, I expected Silver to be contacted to help lift the ship and direct it towards a safe spot, though it probably would’ve been too much for him.

FINALLY mimic got exposed! This issue was awesome! I’m so excited for the next arc to bring silver back. I bet mimic stole the emerald but idk anymore with the location of the emerald. It definitely seems hidden-ish but I have no idea.

Very enjoyable 75th issue. While I definitely don’t like how Mimic’s exposure was handled, there was so much more to love. Sonic and Jets rivalry, the restoration and the civilians coming to our heroes aid, Surge’s powers obviously increasing, the potential for a Rough and Tumble redemption arc, Moto Bud being fixed up and the promise of a new chaos emerald centred story. A wonderful conclusion to a terrific arc.

Yo! This issue was much better than I expected! Lanolin is finally having a character evolution and is redeeming herself, Sonic is doing epic things as usual, Surge seems to have gotten a little stronger (by the way, this art along with the Overcharge scene were GREAT!) but I still think that this is not enough to defeat Sonic without the help of the script, we know that when they have a fair fight using everything he has, Sonic will overcome her, now this ending made me very curious, who invaded Tails’ lab? Where is this place where the Chaos Emerald is now? And all this mysterious vibe? Will we have a big and more serious saga on the way? I hope so!

That one panel with Sonic hitting the ship’s window was the funniest thing I’ve seen all week, lol.
Very good issue. While I know that they won’t do mass murder in IDW(seeing as it is canon and for kids), I did have a huge “oh sh*t” moment when Amy pointed out that the Restoration HQ wasn’t empty. Also Mimic’s accidental reveal to the rest of the Diamond Cutters was pretty funny.
I hope Lanolin starts to get her act together and stop being a piece of crap. And I hope Whisper can finally get some closure.

I mean, it’s confirmed that G.U.N. fell apart during the Eggman War in Forces. G.U.N. hasn’t appeared in IDW because by the time IDW begins, G.U.N. doesn’t exist anymore.

It definitely looks “fleshy” for lack of a better word. Definitely reminds me of the Black Arms – though Shadow Generations technically happened in the past, and it looked like the Black Arms (and Shadow’s Doom Powers) were gone for good.

HAH! THAT’S how Mimic gets exposed?! How pathetic! Now, Lanolin can have a nice, peaceful talk with her teammates. She’ll apologize to Whisper and Silver for not believing them; Whisper and Tangle can apologize for not confiding her over this Phantom Rider business; they’ll promise to listen to each other better from now on, shed a few tears, Tangle will wrap them in a nice group hug, and they can all go on a journey of sweet revenge on the octopus who tried to break them apart! Actually, even saw this one idea where Whisper shows Lanolin the videos in her mask, thereby officially establishing her trust in her. And as Lanolin cries from Mimic’s treachery and how she fell for his lies as well, Whisper will hug her and say, “Now you’re a true Diamond Cutter…”
Alright, Eggman, if you execute Clutch, I will only *slightly* forgive you for the Metal Virus… nah, you still deserve the death penalty. Haha, loved Sonic and Jet’s contest there! Look on the bright side, Jewel, you can build a NEW Restoration H.Q. that’s even more awesome! Still, that was a pretty heavy decision on her part, willing to risk the Restoration people to save the city, but good thing they managed to escape. Oooooo, what happened to the emerald? This is interesting.

“Well, look who it is.” The octopus smirks. “Tangle, Whisper, and sheep girl.”
“SHEEP GIRL?!” Lanolin flares up.
“Yeah, don’t remember your name. You were pretty pathetic.”
Lanolin clutches her Wispon tightly as she growls furiously. “Her name is Lanolin.” Whisper speaks up firmly. “Our leader. You will respect her.”
Lanolin’s anger quells as she smiles in gratitude.
