Seeing Amy jumping on SONIC like a dog (when they are in the middle of a dangerous situation) is so ANNOYING and UNCOMFORTABLE, I feel sorry for Amy’s fans but seeing the character acting like a crazy person is far from showing her as a “loving or empathetic” character that they want so much.

Nice way to end a great arc with a 40+ page finale full of action to finish it all up! Don’t know how they’re going to fix the restoration, though…
I finally am caught up. Over the course of a week, I read all 75+ one-shots, miniseries like Scrapnik Island and Tangle and Whisper, and the annuals in school.
This arc was great… but I’m really here for the Silver and Blaze moments which this arc had a few of and appear to be coming up considering they’re off somewhere together for this segment of the arc and Silver’s in the cover for the next issue.
Silver better get an apology from Lanolin

My biggest problem with the roders arc is that this was entirely foegotten
They aren’t done with him, he’s going to going up against Eggman and/or being forced to replace Starline

This arc was fairly decent but I can’t help but feel that clutch went out sad. His introduction In an earlier arc had such an uneasy feeling to it, and he was a cool villain who brought a new aesthetic others haven’t really dived into in the franchise, that being a more street level mob-boss ish deal. And his whole manipulation of Jewel really sells that idea, but to then have him go out with this cliche it just feels wrong, everything was decent until that tho. Do feel that lanolin’s deal is mid but this arc’s a good 8.5/10 if not 7/10
nobody said this is the end of Clutch. Who knows what Eggman will do to him, but whatever it is, I doubt it’ll kill him.

I don’t think he was keeping pace, I think it was just sonic through him around while fighting him and they just used the way that visualizes how sonic moves around in short distances. Or at least that’s what think.

I agree, clutch is a really cool character, but no way he last a second against an angry Surge. And NO SURGE IS NOT GOING EASY ON HIM. Does that sound like Surge at ALL?? Side note, I love it when Kit gets all creepy and silent when backing up Surge.

Espio in earlier comics said he can keep up with Sonic and shadow, and when Espio ran into Clutch, Clutch completely out did him with ease. Clutch has says over and over that back then all he did was kill heroes so we’ll have to wait for that backstory to see how overpowered he was in his prime younger days
