The way that sonic was about to give up has touched me. He is needed everywhere. He didn’t sleep and is already infected like give him a break. But still he helps as much as he can. This is torture.

Seeing our hero in such a state of exhaustion, on the cusp of giving up, is ROUGH. I’m not sure how long has passed since he was infected but going that long without rest must be pushing him to his absolute limits.
I am glad IDW is not afraid to show sonic a little bit weaker. Sometimes it feels as if the modern games, sans frontiers, are afraid of showing him as anything but the victorious, undeterred hero
