Summary

Mega Man is a comic series produced by Archie Comics based on the video game series of the same name by Capcom. It was announced at New York Comic Con 2010, and the series began publication in April 2011 with Ian Flynn, who has written many stories for Archie’s Sonic the Hedgehog series, as its lead writer.

Udon is making new comics for ALL 5 Mega Man series! Except Battle Network & StarForce, they still need the licence to do them both.

They’re going to start with the Mega Man Classic series to the Mega Man X series to the Mega Man Zero series to the Mega Man ZX series to the Mega Man Legends Series!

“Lights Out Megaman!” That’s an another Megas reference!! From their song, You’ve Sparked a War. The lyrics go “it’s lights out, light out for you! I think youve sparked a war!!”

Fantastic run.

On the page for mega man 9 (with the countdown) you’ll notice there’s exactly 9 pages left afterwards…wow.

(Really wished that one got adapted, judging by the cover (even Roll’s here!) and game’s plot it has great “feels” potential and might’ve even called back to the last arc’s set up about decommissioning. Fingers crossed the new comics will last longer.)

Me too. There is going to be a new Mega Man comic from some publisher I’ve never heard of next year. Ian Flynn really wants them to let him work on it.
