Y’know, all this Penders Echidna lore could have probably been pretty neat if he didn’t *BOMBARD* us with it. There was already like 50 nearly identical copy/paste Echidnas, all name dropped & name checked constantly, with little to keep it straight as it was. We have Locke, Hawking, & the Guardians doing… something. Knuckles mother who was with Locke, but separated, and she’s got whatever she’s got. There was the historical Echidnas that first raised the Floating Island, then Dimitri (who becomes Enerjak don’t forget!) and HIS brother whose name I’ve forgotten, then Kragok & the Dark Legion, who worship Dimitri, & don’t forget how the Fire Ants are the Echidnas’ secret helpoers throughout history, and Knux is the last of his kind but only because Echidnaopolis is the futuristic city vibrating at a different frequency, but there were political movements to dismantle technology, but……
And now, even though there’s ALLLLL that other nonsense to explain, explore, & goddamn *clarify*, he decides “yknow what? There’s also a whole ass lost tribe with all new rules, lore, etc!”
