Aight, so when The Flash referenced the Sonic Bible origin story and Sonic shot it down, I was pretty goddamn pissed, ngl. WHY THE HELL IS SEGA SO AGAINST LETTING SONIC HAVE A BACKSTORY?!! Seriously, any other Anime/Manga, Game, TV Show, or Comic has no issue with having backstories. It’s almost like backstories are universally a good thing that help people connect with the story you’re trying to tell a whole lot better by worldbuilding.

When you think about it its pretty darned impressive Knuckles could adequately fill in for Superman for 2 weeks
