Chasing Shadows one-shot is set to release in March 2025.

Shadow the Hedgehog is off on a solo-adventure where he finds himself in an old isolated village away from the modern world. As strange happenings begin to occur, he finds haunting clues that point to a dark secret not only in the town but among the villagers who inhabit it.Can Shadow escape their clutches and unravel the dark secrets of the village?

    Hey guys if you look at cover 3 it’s the yellow chaos emerald and remember in Sonic x shadow generations how shadow switched the fake for the real and sonic generations was originally made back in November 1 2011 so did shadow have the chaos emerald this ENTIRE TIME?!

      Hold your horses. Don’t forget this is still IDW. They have yet to right any of the game cast accurately. Least of all Shadow.

        I get what you mean, but since the IDW writers are doing the game writing too, they are technically done correctly. It doesn’t line up with the past, but it does line up with the games.

    i just had a mind blown situation, what if shadow has been out of the story for so many books, because of what happened with eggman? think about it, eggman returned, but with amnesia, so shadow might think the same event happened with infinite, so he is on a mission to find and kill him or change him

          you could say the same thing for eggman, he used and lost wih the phantom ruby in the nearly exect same way, and why not bring back someone tied to shadows past? he for some reason not in shadow gens like mephilis was

          because sunset heights and chaos island were already deep cuts from the future, but it would break the story of forces if shadow fought a boss from the future aka infinite then shadow would of just strait up killed infinite if shadow already knew who he was or warn sonic and crew about infinite. just saying not trying to make you look bad

    why do the flowers on the first cover look likes dooms eye and why on the second cover the carboard sigh looks like eclipse the darkling. but beside that can’t wait hopefully they make some call backs to shadow gens and the doom powers
